Over the past 20 years, STUDIO 82’s dance program has become know as a premier place of study for the serious dancer.

Since the beginning, our dance staff has been made up of professional dancers and educators who perform, teach, and choreograph nationally and internationally.

STUDIO 82 also exposes our staff and students to the country’s top choreographers and teachers through in-house visits, conventions, and trips to Los Angeles and New York.

At STUDIO 82, we strive to teach our students what is required technically and artistically in the world of dance. Due to strong tap, ballet and jazz curriculums, our dancers are considered “triple threats,” making them better prepared for further education or employment in dance.

We currently have over 100 classes on our schedule, including: Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop, Hip Hop for Boys, Tumbling, Technique classes, and Adult Dance classes.

But STUDIO 82 is not only for the serious dancer. The majority of students who dance in our program are here to improve self confidence, flexibility, posture, and coordination. A dance education at Studio 82 helps to cultivate the whole person, while providing an escape from daily activities and a chance to partake in an art that has lasted the test of time. Dancers also learn perseverance, collaborative spirit, and self discipline...attriubtes that transfer to the rest of life.

It is our hope that, along the way, these children also experience the joy, excitement and passion that dance can create.
